Quantity (Separated) (QTY)

The QTY (SEPARATED) Price Type multiplies the quantity entered during ring-up by the configured DEFAULT PRICE to automatically calculate the total item price.

MENU > SETTINGS > REPO > EDIT > PRICE TYPE

Go to MENU then SETTINGS.

Open REPO, locate your menu, and click EDIT.

Select the item you want to configure. Scroll down to find the PRICE TYPE dropdown menu within the item settings.

Select QTY (SEPARATED).

Enter the item price in the DEFAULT PRICE field.

Click APPLY then SAVE & CLOSE. Then restart the program.

Result:
When the item is selected on the Sales Screen, the system will prompt for a quantity value.

When ringing up the item, the system will multiply the entered quantity by the configured DEFAULT PRICE and calculate the total item amount automatically.
Unlike the standard QTY Price Type, QTY (SEPARATED) displays the entered quantity in the dedicated QTY field during ring up rather than showing the quantity as part of the item name.
