Open Item

This feature allows you to create and ring up a temporary item that is not on the menu. This is useful for custom requests or one-time items. Open Items can include a price and tax settings, but are not saved to the menu or inventory after the sale is completed.

MAIN SCREEN> NUMBER PAD> SALES SCREEN> OPEN ITEM

From the Main Screen, tap the number pad and enter the assigned personal password to log in.

On the Sales Screen, press the OPEN ITEM button.

The Open Item window will appear. Fill out the required information for the item:

1. Category: Select the category where the Open Item will temporarily belong.

2. Item Name: Enter the name that will appear on the order ticket and customer receipt.

3. Price: Enter the selling price for the item.

4. Tax Table: Select the tax configuration that should apply during the transaction.

5. Kitchen: Choose the kitchen printer or preparation destination where the order should be sent.

6. Modifier (Optional): Add modifiers or customization options to the item.

7. Memo (Optional): Add notes or special preparation instructions related to the item.

After entering the item information, click on ADD.

The Open Item will be added to the current ticket. You may continue adding more items or proceed with the payment process.
