HOW TO RESET A KITCHEN PRINTER (PRINT DUMP)
1. Turn the kitchen printer OFF by pressing the power button.
2. Press and hold the FEED button.
3. While holding the FEED button, turn the printer back ON.
4. Release the FEED button.
The printer will perform a print dump, printing its specifications followed by a test page.
WHY THIS WORKS
Like a computer, a kitchen printer stores temporary information in its internal memory. Over time, this memory may become overloaded, preventing the printer from processing new print jobs correctly. Performing a print dump clears the printer's memory, allowing it to receive new print jobs from the POS system normally.
