How to Disable 2-Factor-Authentication (2FA) for UberEats?

This article provides the steps to disable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) for Uber Eats accounts, as required by Otter for stores integrating with the platform.

Important

  • Uber Eats confirmation may take 24–48 hours.
  • 2FA must be disabled before Otter can connect the Uber Eats account.

Option 1: Phone Request

Call: 1(833)275-3287

Have the following information ready:

  • Store name
  • Store address
  • Email associated with the Uber Eats account

After calling Uber Eats, a verification code will be sent to the email associated with the account. Provide this code to Uber Eats over the phone to complete the request to disable 2FA.

Once Uber Eats confirms that 2FA has been disabled, contact Otter Support to connect the Uber Eats account.

You can request support directly from the store's Otter tablet or through the Otter Support page:

https://otter.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

NOTE: Have the store's Uber Eats login credentials available when contacting Otter Support.

Option 2: Email Request

Email: restaurants@uber.com

The email must be sent from the owner's email address or the email associated with the store's Uber Eats account.

Include:

  • Store name
  • Store address
  • Request to disable 2FA

Suggested email: "Hello, I am [store owner name] from [restaurant name], and I would like to disable 2FA for this store."

Uber Eats will reply asking you to confirm the request. Reply “Yes” and wait for the confirmation email.

Once Uber Eats confirms that 2FA has been disabled, contact Otter Support to connect the Uber Eats account.
